Whatsapp Amazon Scam - Anniversary Free Gift
The "Whatsapp Amazon" scam below, which claims Amazon is giving away free gifts on their 30th anniversay, is currently being circulating on WhatsApp. The scam attempts to trick potential victims into clicking the link in it, which goes to a survey website that steals personal information. If the fake survey is completed, potential victims will be taken to a fake "Amazon 30th anniversary celebration" website that claims they have won 1 free spin. The fake website contains bogus Facebook comments that claim the scam is legit, but this is just a scam used to trick potential victims into participating.
