How Do You Make Your Mount Faster in WoW?

In the World of Warcraft universe, it is sometimes inconvenient and unprofitable for players to walk on foot. Therefore, starting at level 20, they have access to animals to speed up their movement. Mounts are all riding animals that walk on the ground or fly. They are categorized as mechanical, magical, or "more natural" types. Exclusive and rare flying creatures are more likely to drop at higher levels and in new versions of the game.

Classic World of Warcraft

If you remember how the origins of this game were born, you know that the first release of WoW happened in 2004. Since then, many changes have been made, and the same number of additions and expansions has been presented. It is in Shadowlands that you can expect to boost your journey starting at round twenty. At the beginning of their journey, players had access to two types of mounts, and it took a lot of effort and money to get them.

The first ones were available from level 40. They moved slowly and added +60% to your speed, while the next ones were offered from level 60. They were quite faster and doubled your speed. To have these in your arsenal, you must buy them for 100 and 1,000 gold respectively (90/900 creation and 10/100 skill). After some changes, the PvP system appeared.

How to Increase the Efficiency of Your Mount in the Classic Version

Classic WoW has a slightly limited number of tools boosting your mounts in Shadowlands, but the benefit is final summarizing. That is, you can expect to increase the speed up to about 10% by collecting all three:

Gloves (+2%) require large sparkling shards that start to show up around the middle of level 40. Spurs are the most effective ones, which increase the speed of the mount by 4%. They require 4 mithril ingots and a blacksmith with a pattern, but they can also be bought. Carrot gives an increase of 3%, but it is the most time-consuming to carry. In the process of obtaining it, you can collect resources for the rest of the enchantments. The main point is to kill Gaz'rilla in Zul'Farrak. It should be noted that Zul'Farrak is also a good source of Large Radiant Shards needed for enchanting.
