The TikTok Data Privacy Settlement is not a scam. But, to protect themselves from scammers, the public is advised to only go directly to www.tiktokdataprivacysettlement.com, which is the official website to submit a claim or get information about the class action settlement.
The final approval hearing in the TikTok data privacy class action settlement was scheduled for May 18, 2022. Those who would have liked to exclude themselves from or object to the settlement had Jan. 31, 2022 to do so. And, the deadline to file a claim was March 1, 2022. Claimants can be located anywhere in the United States, but those living in Illinois could be eligible receive up to six times more money.
