Your Amazon.com Order has Been Dispatched and Shipping Confirmation Email

The fake Amazon Order Shipping Confirmation below is an email scam being sent by cybercriminals. Therefore, recipients are asked not to call the fake customer service telephone number(818-570-5399) in it. Calling the same telephone number will contact potential victims to scammers who will pretend to be from Amazon. The scammers will attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information.

This is why Amazon customers asked to go directly to www.amazon.com and sign in to their account from there, instead of clicking on a link that may take them to a phishing website.

For Amazon customers who have already been tricked by the scam, it is recommended that they change their password immediately before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.
