TransitUSP Scam Text Linked to transitusp.com USPS Tracking Package

The TransitUSP or Transit USP scam text or fraudulent United States Postal Service message below, with a link to transitusp.com, is being sent by scammers. The fake USPS text, which claims the recipients' shipping information cannot be identified and will be suspended their delivery, has been created by scammers to steal account credentials and personal and financial information. If the link in the USPS scam text is clicked, potential victims will be taken to the TransitUSP website where they will be asked for their information. If the requested information is submitted, it will be used fraudulently by the scammers.

If the link in the scam text is clicked, it will go the following fake and phishing USPS website:

Any information submitted on the fake website will used fraudulenlty by the scammers.

Therefore, recipients of United States Postal Service text messages with a link to transitusp.com are not to follow the instructions in it. They may post the text in a comment below along with the telephone number it came from. This will help inform others.
