Hrcek Scam and Citigroup Fraudulent SMS Text Message
The website, Hrcek, located at hrcek.com is a spam and scam website. The website randomly redirects visitors to different spam and phishing scam websites. A popular scam being used by the website is the Citigroup text scam, where potential victims are sent a text from 312-447-1106 with a link to hrcek.com. If the link is clicked, potential victims will be redirected to a fake and phishing CitiBank website that steals CitiBank account credentials, personal, and financial information.
Online users who have received messages with a link hrcek.com are asked not to click the link or follow the instructions in the message. They can post the message along with the telephone number the message came from in a comment below.
For online users who have already been tricked into clicking links that go to the Hrcek website and who have attempted to sign into or submit their financial information to the website they were taken to, are asked to contact their bank for help.
