The MTB Alert scam text below, which claims a transaction was declined and asks the recipient to click a link in it, is being sent by online scammers. The scam aims to frighten and trick potential victims into clicking the link in the text which goes to a phishing website. The phishing website steals banking account credentials, personal and financial information.
