Amazon OTP Scam Text Message Payment Verification

Scammers sending Amazon OTP scam text messages like the one below to potential victims. The scam text messages attempt to trick potential victims into clicking the link in them, which goes to a fake and phishing Amazon website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information.

Amazon.com: xxxxx is your Amazon OTP. Don't share it with anyone. Someone try to Sign-in into your Amazon, from Android -China. If you didn't make this request, Please login and verify your payment information immediately in the link below:

hxxps://access-amazon-accounts. |Ink.to/BHJTOMyx . If this was you, you don't need to do anything.

Amazon OTP text messages do not contain links, therefore, recipients with a link in them, should just delete them.

If you were tricked by an Amazon OTP scam text, please change your password and contact Amazon for help. If you were tricked into disclosing financial information, contact your bank for help.
