The "PayPal Pre-processing Check of Transaction" email scam below, which asks recipients to call the fake PayPal customer support telephone number (1888 927 4792), is being sent by online scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick potential victims into contacting them. Once contacted, the scammers will pretend to be PayPal customer support representatives. They will ask potential victims for personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
