Total AV Scam Email and Fake Purchase and Telephone Number

There is a new Total AV scam hitting emails. Scammers are sending fake TotalAV emails to potential victims claiming they have purchased the antivirus software and their account will be charged within 48 hours. Potential victims are then instructed to call a fake Total AV customer service telephone number linked to the scammers behind the fake email.

If the scammers are contacted, they will attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
