Here is another fake PayPal statement asking potential victims to call 563-284-1761, which is a telephone number being used by scammers operating call centers. The scam aims to trick and frighten potential victims into the scammers. If contacted the scammers will attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information. That information will then be used fraudulently by the scammers.
