How to Remove Delta Toolbar and Delta Search

Be careful when installing free software because, a lot of these software are packaged with Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). Free software developers package these programs with their software in order to monetize it. But, these Potentially Unwanted Programs may hijack your web browser and/or display annoying popup advertisements.

The Delta Toolbar is one of these Potentially Unwanted Programs that will hijack your web browser by changing your default search engine and home page to www.delta-search.com. This software was created by www.babylon.com

This is how the website www.delta-search.com looks:

Here are some programs that you can safely use to remove the Delta Toolbar, Delta Search and other Potentially Unwanted Programs.

  1. AdwCleaner (click here to download it)
  2. Malwarebytes (click here to download it)

When installing free software, never select the default installation option, instead, select "Custom Installation". This option allows you not to install the additional programs that are packaged with the free software you are installing.
