Phishing Scam PayPal Email Receipt - Receipt for your PayPal payment to David Hesslefors
The email message below with the subject: "Receipt for your PayPal payment to David Hesslefors," has been created by cybercriminals to steal PayPal users' sign-in information or credentials. Clicking on any of the links in the email message will take the recipients to a fake website impersonating www.paypal.com. The trick is to get PayPal users to enter their PayPal user name and password on the fake website, which will then be sent to cybercriminals.

This email message was sent to multiple addresses, each address randomly generated. This is how spammers use automated software to generate random email addresses in the hope of generating a few of their victims email addresses. If recipients click on any of the links in the email message, they will be taken to the following phishing website:

Their PayPal user names and passwords will be stolen if they attempt to sign-in on the website. The scammers will then use the stolen information to sign into their PayPal accounts and use the accounts fraudulently. PayPal users who have already entered their PayPal username and password on the same website, are asked to change their Paypal password right now.
PayPal users are advised not to click on a link in an email message to sign into their accounts. They should always go directly to the website that has sent the email message to them and sign into their accounts from there. Therefore, if they have received an email notification message from PayPal, instead of clicking on the link in the message, they should go to www.paypal.com and sign in from there.
