Google Promo Text or SMS Lottery Scam Messages

Scammers are sending out fake Google Promo text or SMS messages like the one below to their potential victims, claiming that their mobile numbers have won one million dollars. Therefore, recipients of the fake messages are asked to delete them and should not follow the instructions in them. There is no Google or Gmail Promo, and as a matter of fact, there is no Google or Gmail lottery. So, recipients of messages claiming that they are Google or Gmail lottery winners should delete the messages and should never attempt to follow the instructions in them.

The Fake Google Promo Text or SMS Message

From Google Promo (GOOGLEPROMOASIA) +1 517-826-4723
"Congratulation! Your mobile # won 1 MILLION USD in the GOOGLE PROMO.Send Name,Address&..."

"...Winning Pin (US42W7) to info4claim@ gmail.com"

Recipients who have responded to the fake messages will be asked to send personal and financial information, and will be asked to send money in order to receive their so-called prizes. The scammers will claim that the money is for taxes, transfer fees or some other fees. But, never send money in order to collect so-called lottery prizes, because this is how lottery scammers make their money.
