Scammers are sending out fake Google Promo text or SMS messages like the one below to their potential victims, claiming that their mobile numbers have won one million dollars. Therefore, recipients of the fake messages are asked to delete them and should not follow the instructions in them. There is no Google or Gmail Promo, and as a matter of fact, there is no Google or Gmail lottery. So, recipients of messages claiming that they are Google or Gmail lottery winners should delete the messages and should never attempt to follow the instructions in them.

Recipients who have responded to the fake messages will be asked to send personal and financial information, and will be asked to send money in order to receive their so-called prizes. The scammers will claim that the money is for taxes, transfer fees or some other fees. But, never send money in order to collect so-called lottery prizes, because this is how lottery scammers make their money.

Just received sms yesterday at 0907hrs from bssh7081-chol.com."You won US$2.5Million in our Lottery Promo. Claim code CSAOB.To claim send e-mail to johanjacobs45-outlook.com for info."
I received this exact same text message on July 20, 2018; same claim code and claim contact. Mine came from winfarsales-chinli.com (a plastics & rubber company in Vietnam). The message also contained an HTML attachment. (I did not click on it.) Glad I decided to investigate. Thank you for posting.
I just got done setting up my new cell phone when I got a message stating that I just won $1 million and to send my information to rasodym-gmail.com for claim
Received via email:"I was sent the message of this scam. It would have been nice if it was real this is the email address I was given. Google sms promo email, smsgatewaygames-outlook.com. The courier co. is madhur courier sevice dispatch-madhurcouriersins.in. Hope you get this stopped.Thank You Debra"
Jmmm-roadrunner.com sent me this SMS saying I won 18765000.

Today April 29 2017 I got a text from jmmm-roadrunner.com at 11:11 saying "(you just won $1,875,000 from the Monday lottery 2017 SMS promo. Contact Mr. Freeman on Mondaylotto2017-gmail.com for claim)"
Just got the same one this morning. Knew it was a scam.

Just received a SMS "Your cell number ********* has won you a 750,00USD in our Free Mobile SMS Lottery Promo, contact claim-globsmlottery.com for clarification and payment" I am forwarding this to my local police to advise them that scammers are starting to get active in our area.Cheers.Keep Up the Good Work.
