The website "newsrooms .info" is a fake-news website and contains virus, spyware, ransomware and other malware. The malicious website trick online users into visiting it by creating fake attention grabbing news headlines or titles, which claim women, children, babies or men have been murdered.

Once visitors are on the website, a pop-up message will appear that goes to a malicious website. The malicious website will automatically prompt the visitors to download and open a malicious file. Any attempt to open the malicious file will result in the visitors’ computers getting infected with a virus, ransomware, spyware or other malware. Therefore online users are asked not to visit the malicious fake-news website, even if they have antivirus software on their computers or mobile devices.
Online users who have already visited the malicious website, are asked to do a full scan of their computers or mobile devices with the antivirus software installed on them.
