The "Bank of America Security and Protection" Phishing Scam
Bank of America (BofA) who have received the email below are asked not to click the link in it. This is because the email is a fake being sent by cybercriminals. Clicking the link goes to a fake BofA website that steals account credentials if visitors attempt to sign into in it.
Bank of America customer should always go directly to https://www.bankofamerica.com/ and sign into their account from there. Once they are signed, they will be notified of important changes or updates if there is any.
