"Samsung End of Year" Lottery Scam Created by Online Scammers

Received an SMS and email to the effect that I have won $USD855,000 in the End of Year Samsung promotion, and I am to send my particulars and also scan and mail my passport for verification purposes. They said I am among the 5 out of 25000000 winners. But because I know that legitimate companies to do not asked their winners to send personal information via email, I know it is a scam. So, be aware of "Samsung End of Year" lottery scam.

Remember, never send money to anyone who asks you to do so in order to collect a lottery prize. Once you are asked to do so, it is a scam created by lottery scammers who are attempting to trick you into sending them money. Once the scammers receive the money, they will take it and disappear, leaving the victims without the lottery prize or money they were promised.
