Cybercrime - "Earthlink New Email Address Created" is a Phishing Scam
The "Earthlink New Email Address Created" email below is a phishing scam, therefore recipients are asked to delete it. The fake email is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick Earthlink customers into clicking on it, which goes to a fake and phishing Earthlink website. The phishing website steals Earthlink account credentials (username and password) by asking visitors to sign-in. If the visitors attempt to sign-in, their account username and password will be sent to the cybercriminals, who will use it gain access to their accounts and use them fraudulently.
