"Lotto America" Powerball Lottery Scams
The fake "Lotto America" email below is a lottery scam being sent by scammers that trick potential victims into visiting the fake "Lotto America" websites ilotto.com and lottoamerica.com. The lottery scam tricks people into believing they are winners in the PowerBall Lotto America games. The scammers behind the scam then steal their potential victims' personal information by asking them to send it in order for them to receive their so-called prize. Once the scammers have received their victims' personal information, they will subsequently ask them to send money in order to receive their so-called prize. But, once the scammers receive the money, they will take it and disappear.
Again, "Lotto America" will never ask their winners to send their personal information via an email message, and will never ask their winners to send money in order to receive their prize.
