"Wells Bank Support Suspicious Account Locked" Phishing Scam

Wells Bank customers who have received SMS text or email messages like the one below, which claim access to their accounts have been locked, are asked not to follow the instructions in them. This is because the email messages are phishing scams being sent by cybercriminals to steal Wells Bank customers' account credentials, personal and financial information. Once the cybercriminals have received the stolen credentials, personal and financial information, they will gain access to their victims' accounts, hijack and use them fraudulently.

Wells Bank customers should never click on a link to sign into their online accounts. They should always go directly to https://www.wells-bank.com and sign into their accounts from there. Once they have signed in, they will be notified of changes or updates that need to be done to their accounts, if there is any.

Wells Bank customers who have already been tricked by the phishing email messages should change their passwords and contact Wells Bank immediately for help.
