Is Movieframe a Scam or Untrustworthy Online Store?
I believe that Movieframe at www.movieframe.com is a rip off company. It says free trial for 7 days and before 7 days were up my card was charged 49.99. I called to cancel and the rude foreigner said it was up 2 hours ago. I explained that I had been to busy to go to the site so had not even looked at it. I had no username, password, or member id for it. I had never even actually gone to the website to browse so it wasn't for sure exactly what the site even was. The person was very rude and said that it was too late so I would be charged. I asked to speak with manager he said he was. I hung up, called back and the same person answered.
I pleaded that I could understand if I had even logged into the site but I had not. He was a complete jerk and I got nowhere. I then emailed support and got someone else but said I had already called and charges could not be reversed as his colleague had said. I still pleaded and asked how he would feel in my shoes. He said it was company policy. I said that customer service or support is to help the customer not to rip them off. Very rude people and didn't care at all. All about the money and not about the service for the customer. I would have rather just thrown the money in the street.
