PNC Security Department Scam Text Message - 877-692-0390

If you receive a PNC Security Department text that asks you to call 877-692-0390 because your PNC card has been blocked for security reasons, please do not. This is because the fake PNC security text is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick you into calling them at 8776920390 so they can steal your banking information.

If the fake PNC customer service or support telephone number is called, the callers will be greeted with a message welcoming them and claims their PNC card has been blocked for security reasons.

They will be asked to Press 1 to unblock and 2 to exit. If 1 is pressed, the automated voice response system will ask for their card information. If the requested information is entered, it will be sent to the scammers, who will use it fraudulently.
