Bank of America Text Scam - Frozen Account and Unauthorised Debit Card PIN Change and Tranfer Transaction

Online scammers are sending the Bank of America text scam messages below to potential victims, which claim the recipients' account has been frozen, someone attempted to change their debit card PIN and there were unauthorised transfer transactions. The text scam messages ask recipients to click the link or call the telephone number in them. But, the link goes to a fake and phishing Bank of America website that steals account credentials, personal and financial, which the scammers will use fraudulently. And, the fake Bank of America telephone numbers will connect potential victims to the scammers. Therefore, recipients of the fraudulent text messages are asked not to follow the instructions in them, they should just delete them.

Remember, if you receive a text message that appears to be from your bank, instead of following the instructions in it, contact your bank directly to verify the authenticity of the text.
