The text scam messages ask recipients to click the link or call the telephone number in them. But, the link goes to a fake and phishing Bank of America website that steals account credentials, personal and financial, which the scammers will use fraudulently. And, the fake Bank of America telephone numbers will connect potential victims to the scammers. Therefore, recipients of the fraudulent text messages are asked not to follow the instructions in them, they should just delete them.
