This morning I received this e-mail in my inbox with the "from email address" as thescooterstore @ bestgetsgreat.net, which I think is spoofed (email spoofing). The e-mail message has an offer to buy a scooter at little to no cost at the "The Scooter Store". After clicking on the image, I was redirected to a page that contains a Trojan ( http://da-tracking.com ).
email spoofing is the changing of an e-mail message "From" address to another address to make it appears as if it came from someone else.
a Trojan horse, or Trojan, is a malicious program which may give full control of an infected computer to a hacker or the person who created it.
The e-mail contains:
Subject: You may be eligible to receive a power chair or scooter at little to no cost to you
From address: thescooterstore@bestgetsgreat.net
The image below shows the alert message displayed by Avast free anti-virus after clicking the link in the e-mail.

Please avoid clicking on any of the links in the e-mail and delete immediately.
