Persons have called me stating that they keep receiving calls from this telephone number (785) 261-9045, from persons who said they are from a law firm, claiming that they owe an American Cash loan and need to repay it or they will be arrested. These persons claim that they do not owe anyone money, so it was rather surprising for them when they got these calls from persons with a deep Indian accent.
These calls are scams and I found out that thousands of other persons are receiving the same call from the same number.

Most of these persons want to know how these people got a hold of their information.
I do not know how these people got this information but, I told them to call their home or mobile phone company and report this scam to them and see what they can do in terms of blocking this number.
Also, I told them to register with the Do Not Call registry at website http://www.donotcall.gov but, I do not really think this will change anything drastically, because these scammers do not respect this registry.
