Malicious and Hoax Facebook Post - Rapper Eminem Left Nearly Dead After Being Stabbed 4 Times in NYC

Rapper Eminem stabbed and left nearly dead, is another hoax that is spreading on social networking websites like wildfire. Cybercriminals have posted malicious links, with a photo of a man with some deep cuts in his back, claiming it is Eminem and that he was stabbed and left for dead, in New York City.

The rapper is not near death and was not stabbed. The post is malicious and a fake, and is a plot by cybercriminals to spread it by tricking persons into sharing it.

Clicking on the post will take you to the following website:
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/ u/173075719/eminem5.htm

You will then be redirected to the malicious website videopalace.biz, which they claim has a Youtube video of the Eminem stabbing.

This website will ask you to share before you can watch the video. Do not share, because there is no video.

If you share it (DO NOT), you will then be asked to complete a survey. Do not complete this survey, because these criminals will be paid for each survey that they have tricked someone into completing.

After completing the survey, if you click to play the video, you will be taken the malicious website rogena.net.

It detected a malware on rogena.net.
