Barclays Bank Phishing Scam - Your Account Might be Compromised

The email message below: "Your account might be compromised," is a phishing scam, and was not sent by the Barclays Bank. The spoofed email message contains a fake Barclays Bank form with the name Attachment-17-11-2014.zip, designed to trick the recipients into entering their passcode, first name, last name, date of birth, account number, sort code, debit card number and five digit telephone banking Passcode. Why is there not a mechanism in place to identify the owner of the said Email address and prosecute them?

As soon as the scam is discovered, the scammer will create another email address from anywhere in the world. This makes it hard to track down cyber-criminals, especially if they are doing it from North Korea or some other countries where there are no laws in place to prosecute cyber-criminals.

Yes, it's still going around though obviously signed with different names. Mine was signed 'Jessica M Klaus' though viewing the source revealed the Natalie Beecham email address.
