Oprah Posts Bail For ‘Sexy Felon’ Jeremy Meeks - Fake Internet News and Hoax
The satirical website www.empirenews.net has created another hoax (see below), which claims that Oprah Winfrey has posted bail for Jeremy Meeks. Jeremy Meeks, who is from Stockton, California, was arrested on gang-related crimes, felony weapons charges, and his bail set at $1 million. When the Stockton Police Department posted a mug shot of him on Facebook, the post quickly went viral or popular.
Thousands of persons commented on his good looks and claimed that he was too good-looking to be a criminal. Some claimed that he was perfect and he should be model.
But, Oprah Winfrey DID NOT post or offer to bail this alleged handsome thug. This is another reason why you should always use popular and reputable news websites as your source of information.
