Here is another Smartphone microwave battery charge hoax: "iOS8 Wave-Charge," which claims the IPhone battery can be recharged using this new feature in Apple's new operating system called iOS 8. Please DO NOT follow the instructions in the hoax. The hoax is spreading on social networking websites and the rest of the internet like wildfire, and there are reports of people who have followed the instructions in the hoax.

But, will microwaving the IPhone Smartphone recharge its battery? Absolutely NOT.

Microwaving your IPhone or any other Smartphone will NOT charge the battery, but will only destroy the phone, battery, and possibly your Microwave oven. The damaged microwave may then start a fire, which may destroy your home.

What is Wave?

Wave is our latest and greatest addition to iOS8. Wave allows our device to be charged wirelessly through microwave frequencies. Wave can be used to quick charge your device's battery using any standard household microwave.

How to use Wave

Wave will become automatically activated when you update to iOS8, You can now Wave-charge your device by placing it within a household microwave for a minute and a half. See below for details.

How to Wave Works

iOS8 contains new drivers that interface with your device's radio-baseband allowing it to synchoronize with microwave frequencies and use them to recharge your battery.

600 seconds at 700W or 70 seconds at 800 W. Do nto Wave-charge for over 300 seconds.

The electromagnetic radiation that the Microwave oven emits will destroy the Smartphone and the battery.

The image below posted on Twitter, shows a damage IPhone that was placed in a Microwave oven. It is alleged that the owner of the phone followed the instructions in the hoax.
