Facebook Scam - "ALDI is Giving Away Free 40 Percent Off Voucher for Christmas Season"

The Facebook post below: "ALDI is Giving Away Free 40 Percent Off Voucher for Christmas Season," is a Facebook like-farming scam. This scam will attempt to trick Facebook users into clicking on it, by claiming that they get an Aldi's 40% grocery voucher this Christmas season. But, the fake Facebook website has nothing to do with Aldi, and is only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like" or share the same deceptive website or fake post with their Facebook friends.

If you have received the same fake post on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, please report it to Facebook as spam.The scammers behind the post may change the website name and the coupon dollar amount.

By liking,commenting on and sharing this scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for this, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into commenting on, liking and sharing a fake Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it.

Also, they may ask you to complete surveys in order to receive your coupon. But, it doesn't matter how much surveys you complete, you will never receive any coupons. The scammers, on the other hand, will get paid for each competed survey.
