"See Who Viewed Your Facebook Profile App" Scams
Facebook user who have received messages or posts on their Facebook Wall, Timeline or Newsfeed which state: "See Who Viewed Your Facebook Profile App," are advised to delete the messages or posts, and should not follow the instructions in them. The is because the app the posts or messages are referring to is a fake, and is malicious. Facebook doesn't let users track who viewed their profiles or posts. Third-party apps are also unable to do this also. Therefore, Facebook users who come across apps that claim they can show them who are viewing their profiles or posts, are advised to report them to Facebook.
Facebook users who have installed the malicious app, which are created by cybercriminals, will constantly receive messages with links to spam websites that will trick them into purchasing fake services and goods, and links to phishing websites that steal Facebook account credentials, credit card information, personal information, and other online account credentials. The malicious app may also attempt post the same malicous messages to the Facebook users' friends.
