"Internet Capacity Warning" - A Support Department Phishing Scam

The email message below: "Internet Capacity Warning," is a fake and a phishing scam created by cyber-criminals to steal the recipients' email account usernames and passwords, which they will use to hijack the email accounts. So, recipients of the same email message are asked not to click on the link or follow the instructions in it. They should just delete it instead.

The link in the email message will take the recipients who have clicked on it to a fake Helpdesk website, which will ask them for their email account usernames and passwords. Once the recipients have entered the their email account usernames and passwords on the fake website, the account information will be sent to the cyber-criminals behind the phishing email and website. They will then hijack the victims' email accounts and use them fraudulently.

If you were tricked into entering your user name and password on the fake website, please change your password immediately.
