Lottery - Donation
There is NO "Google/Windows Live U.K End of Year Sweepstakes" organized by Google or Windows Live, giving away thousands or millions of dollars in prizes. Therefore, recipients of messages claiming that they have won thousands or millions of dollars in this so-called award or lottery, should delete them. Below is a sample of the "Google/Windows Live U.K End of Year Sweepstakes" lottery scam being sent by scammers to their potential victims.
The lottery scam is an attempt by scammers to trick potential victims into sending them money they claim are for taxes and other fees required before their potential victims receive their so-called lottery prizes. But, once the scammers have received money from their potential victims, they will disappear, and some may continue to attempt to trick the same victims into sending more money.

Here is another scam: "From: "Nese, Amy" Date: 28 December 2017 at 12:05:24 PM HKT Subject: RE: Urgent Winning Alert Google/Windows Live U.K Sweepstakes End of Year program 2017, has selected your email for a Grand Prize of 750,000.00 Pounds Sterling. Contact googlelottopromo@yeah.net for claim procedures."

Hi, I got an email saying my email has been selected as the winner of £750,000, asking me to contact googlesweepstakes@yeah.net. I am very sure this is a big scam.Thanks
It is a scam. There is no Google lottery or Sweepstakes.
I got this April 25th 2017.
Here is another scam: "From: Gumke Laura A Sent: 26 April 2017 16:02 Subject: RE: Notification mail from Google Inc Google/Windows Live U.K Sweepstakes has selected your email for a Grand Prize of 750,000.00 Pounds Sterling. Please contact googlesweepstakes@yeah.net for claim procedures."
