Gift Card Scam - "Thank you with McDonald's Sweeps/Rewards!"

The email message below with the subject: "Thank you - with McDonald's Sweeps/Rewards!," which claims that the recipients should complete a survey in order to get a McDonald's Sweeps/Rewards gift card, is a scam. The link in the fake email message will take recipients who have clicked on it to malicious survey, software and phishing websites, which are created by cybercriminals to steal their victims’ money, personal and financial information. The links may also take recipients who have clicked on them to malicious websites that will infect their computers with viruses, Trojan or other malware. Therefore, recipients of the fake and malicious email message are asked to delete it and not follow the instructions in it.
