Virus - Malware - Spyware
The fake and malicious Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) email message below is being sent by cybercriminals to infect their potential victims’ computers with a virus, spyware, Trojan horse, ransomware, or some other malware. Therefore, recipients of the same email message should delete it and not follow the instructions in it. The link in the fake and malicious BOJ email message downloads a malicious compressed or zip file that contains the virus, spyware, Trojan horse or ransomware. And, any attempt to open the malicious file, will result in the victims’ computers getting infected.
