AOL users who have already followed the instructions in the phishing or fake email message, should change their AOL account passwords immediately before it is hijacked and used fraudulently by cybercriminals. And, if they are not able to change their passwords, they should contact AOL.
AOL users should always go directly to www.aol.com, and sign into their accounts from there. If something is wrong with their accounts, they will be notified after signing in.
