The Facebook post and websites below: "Sharpie is Giving away Free 24-Marker Set to Everyone on its 13th Anniversary," is a Facebook like-farming and survey scam. The scam will attempt to trick Facebook users into clicking on it by claiming that they can receive a free 24-marker set from Sharpie on their 13th anniversary. The links in the fake post go to the following fake Sharpie websites: "www.sharpie.com-eat.com," "www.sharpie.com-lii.com," and "www.sharpies.com-buyed.com," which has nothing to do with Sharpie. And is only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like", share the same deceptive websites or fake post with their Facebook friends and complete surveys.
Facebook users who have received the post on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, should report it as spam or delete it. And, should only visit the legitimate Sharpie website located at: www.sharpie.com.

Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.
