Online users who have received emails like the one below, which claim they have been selected to receive a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 in exchange for answering a few short questions, are asked to delete them. This is because the emails are being sent by online scammers to trick their potential victims into visiting malicious websites that will infect their computers or mobile devices with viruses or malware. They may also trick potential victims into visiting phishing websites that steal personal information and online account credentials. And, may trick them into visiting spam websites that trick them into buying fake products and services.
