Realplayz is a Fraudulent Online Streaming Website

Realplayz located at www.realplayz.com is a fraudulent content streaming website. The website which claims that online users can watch movies, listen to music or play games, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com, and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website (realplayz) run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions.

About Realplayz

www.realplayz.com

They (realplayz) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to realplayz.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

Open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. Then, cancel the card they are charging and get a new one to prevent further unwanted charges.

I have heard about realplay and I was going to download it but I wanted to find out what it was first then I saw someone had commented that where you took money from their card then I did not download it. And why should realplay create any page and write even that it is free, says that there will be no charge on the card now I see others here have commented that it will be anyway and it is very stupid for realplay, write something like this have thought about before posting a rumor that realplay is a free site, that there is nothing drawn on the bank card, becomes a burden, I have seen so many that have been scammed because of what they think on the website until they look for when they paid that there are more scams together, show the people who post stuff online then I thought they should have got the money back, show something is in agreement with me that they should have got the money back and give me a message back.

    Thank you:)

I have heard back from both websites after emailing them and they have both processed a refund of $49.95 USD. It was easier than what I had expected as they did not reply to an earlier text I had sent over a week ago. Will let you know when or if realplayz.com & maxmusic.com refund my money.

Yep realplayz.com & maxmusics.com withdrew over $150 in two days, which I only discovered weeks later while doing online banking. Had never heard of either website until after my money was taken out.

No corresponding emails, invoices or browser history. Now it's my job to prove to the bank that this was not my doing & I have to provide them with a paper trail because there isn't one.

Question: Can my bank/card provider get my money back? Has anyone been successful?

Yes, open a dispute with your bank before it is too late.

These people are crooks. Never give them your credit card number otherwise they will quickly debit the subscription even if you never used it.

Happened to me and I immediately cancelled the subscription after they charged me for one month. Netflix are a much trustworthy option.

I have just had 70 odd dollars taken out of my account by realplayz.com and I don't remember signing up to this.

I don't know how they got my details. I have no emails or messages about realplayz.com.

I wouldn't have signed up to this as I don't have the time or the money to do it as I'm a full time career for my elderly mother.

I don't have any idea how they got my information, so it was 3 months before I saw they had stolen $69 a month! I had no recollection of signing up for this. I wouldn't have! I searched thru old emails and spam. nothing to show I had signed up for it!

I might have looked at the website. but I'm pretty sure I didn't sign up!

I did not recognize Realplayz on my bank account. The phone number does not work. Over $100.00 in one month. Three went through the bank but they have stopped the last $49.45 and cancelled my card.

This website is definitely fraudulent. They will continue charging your credit card even if you have cancelled then they will say they don't give refunds. The best way to get out of it is to contact your credit card provider and tell him you need to cancel the card and have a new one issued due to the charges being charged to your card without your permission.

That will prevent any future charges to your card. How unfortunate I am sure many others have been caught up with the same fraud. Even if you take their 5 day free trial and cancel on time your card will still get charged. They do not provide refunds so you will have to take the loss but at least you can stop future transactions against your credit card.

I have learned my lesson before using my card for anything online google the company website name and you will learn pretty quickly whether they are a scam or fraudulent as others will complain and want to inform others to stop these thieves.

Can't figure out how to unsubscribe from realplayz, can anyone help plz?

    • December 16, 2017 at 1:15 PM by an anonymous user from: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

I am having the same problem to cancel. The only way to stop them is to cancel your credit card with your provider and they can issue a new card with a new number. They are definetly a fraudulent website and will continue charging your card as if you did a subscription.
