My bank sent me a text saying that there had been fraudulent activity tried on my account. I ordered a new card due to the bank blocking my card..Caused me some inconvenience but im glad my bank caught this

Surely as they are already identified with the scams they make with the movies loading indeterminate amounts in the creditcards, now free free high-end phones, which claim to be free prizes, after answering questions they ask you to pay 1 dollar with a card and the cell phone It's yours .

There's the scam ... there they charge amounts to the cards and they cheat you ... Another ROBO in a different way. WATCH OUT!

I was re-directed to grindplay.com from movhard.com - of course advertising great new movies. I signed up for the free 5 day trial, and then the new clickbait movies disappeared and all that was left were old/unheard of movies. Cancelled my account quickly, and will see if anything ends up being charged.

    Received via email:

"This evening I made the Horrendous mistake of trusting and signing up with that GRINDPLAY.com websites offering FREE Movie and Games Books and Music Downloads, but I needed to give them my credit card details which they swear blind they will NOT charge for the FREE period, So I did for my Nationwide Building Society Flexi-Visa/Debit card!

Then I happened upon your website about them - In a Total Panic - I immediately logged into my N.W Internet Bank account and left them a security concerns message after reading your online information about them and instructed them NOT to make or accept any charges, or transfer any money from my account to these Online scamming streaming b******s!

Now after reading your website info on them I'm wholly terrified that these swine will try to empty my account and clean me out which I cannot afford to have happen as my Dss Benefits and DLA are put into that account! Without them I'm screwed financially!

I tried to send these Grindplay b******s a message but they've got it rigged so that you cannot contact them! I need your help to put a STOP to them before they leave me with nothing without my Benefits I have NO way of surviving!

Can you help me to STOP them before they get at my money?

    Yours Sincerely

    Mr Michael"

  • February 6, 2018 at 4:27 PM by an anonymous user from: Athens, Attiki, Greece

Quite so. I was stupid enough to give them my credit card data, intending to unsubscribe thee day after, but as no confirmation e-mail was forthcoming, I thought the subscription hadn't gone through and omitted to unsubscribe - which I had no way of doing, anyway.

Four days later, I was charged 80 euro! I will try to have the charge canceled, but with dubious results. BEWARE OF THOSE CROOKS! Can't someone sue them?

  • January 9, 2018 at 5:31 AM by an anonymous user from: Kannavia, Nicosia, Cyprus

I signed up for books, which were advertised for free. That is not unusual as most websites make money from advertising. After credit card details wete input I see that it is a 5 day trial and a large amount would be charged afterwards on a regular basis. I immediately ...say 10 minutes later tried to cancel but could not. After reading these posts I cancelled my card. their site looked so secure with SSL, 24/7 telephone contact and cancellation.

Shame on Google to carry such scams. I will not shop online unless I throughly check reviews... but that takes so much time. Maybe I am better off not shopping online.

  • December 26, 2017 at 3:41 PM by an anonymous user from: Hesperia, California, United States

I signed up for a free trial and right after they advertise having a movie available, it turn out they didn't have it.

I went right away to cancel, even when they promise to never charge any service and when I tried to do it, the page froze and couldn't do anything.

I went back today to try and cancel today and the same thing, then I found your information and I called my Bank, sure enough they charged me the whole amount I had in my account $149.00!

I hope I can get it back and I really wish they put behind bars all this scamemers!
