Spotzplay is a Fraudulent Content Streaming Website

I also fell for this one. I was using what appeared to be simply a free book archive and it asked for credit card details to verify me. It did not identify itself as Spotzplay, a name I would have avoided. My bank intervened to stop the second payment but it has meant a new card has been issued.

I need to unsubscribe spotzplay.com and found it very difficult to do so. I need these people to stop taking money from my credit card.

I wish I had seen this, however, the sing up page and the gateway that takes you to the page to enter your credit card info to "verify your location" makes zero mention of the actual website name.

At the time I attempted to access a hockey game stream, I was not even redirected to a real site, instead, the page refreshed and I was back at the original sign up page.

Had no clue what was going on until my spouse found a strange charge on my credit card.

I did initiate a fraud claim and the person that I spoke to at the credit card issuer said that they were aware of thie site and it is definitely a fraud.

Wish there was a way to alert others before the damage is done.

I wish I had seen this site before thank you for your information l. I never thought anything about it until I went into my account but lucky I have stopped my credit, rang my bank at first 1.50 was taken out then $70 so glad they were unable to open my other accounts.

Was lured to site as a result of free movie subscription after filling out a pop up survey seemingly from yahoo. After registering for the on line account, it requests credit card info to legitimize the business purpose. Very suspicious.

Tried again same problem. Got suspicious and tried to Google the review that introduced me to the site 'News Digital.com' but no site found. Immediately cancelled my card.

I'm a victim too. I have contacted my lawyer and I'm suing this website. I will not accept this kind of treatment. I won't give up until this website is destroyed and punished for its crimes against me/us. Splotzplay see you in court:)Looking forward to it!

I just discovered that spotzplay.com has withdrawn money from my account, I do not know what it is and have not asked for any service from them, so it's very mysterious where it has my information. I just became a victim of the fraudulent website. I wanted to download a video from Youtube and signed up for spotzplay. The download has worked but it was several times the hint to see that this is free.

On my credit card, whose number I have lightheartedly stated, two debits of 41 and 49 euros were made. Country of origin "CYPRUS".

My bank immediately blocked the credit card, but it was not clear yet if they could get the money back.

My realization: Never reveal a credit card number to an unknown provider!

The link to sign up for this "service" sent me to different pages every time and did not mention the name of the service in the article itself.

The different service names included:
Spotzplay, musiczum, popplayz, themusicz, botmediaz, 611music, and more.

I to was foolish enough to give my credit details and had deductions which now amount to £150. This includes a site under the name of musiczum.com of which I have never used but assume they are associates of spotzplay.
I contacted my bank immediately and as I gave them my card details looks like I may be the looser, however they are going to dispute the transactions.
Oh well you learn by your mistakes.

I wanted to watch a old movie online with my Android phone and came across the ad. And like a fool I did give them my credit card information, but as soon as I did they charge me 2.25 for nothing and I was suspicious of this act and to my thinking I was right when I seen this information.
