Q&A: Fake Virus or Malware Technical Support Call

There's a person who wants me to pay money to fix my computer because he's telling me there's malware on my computer...it's a large computer...it's not my cell phone...it's a brand new computer. He called me numerous times wanting me to pay money to fix the errors. I have refused his offers many times. I'm aware of scammers like him. I've told him to stop calling me. I'm now worried about opening up my computer because I am afraid it will be ruined by this man. He said his name is Larry Anderson. He's out of California. He's striking older women and I am an older woman. This man needs to be reported which I'm doing today. I would like a response back from your computer service. Thank you, Janet.
