I also got stung with qualitygrabbers fraudulent period table sale. Actual embedded elements my a**e. A stick on label on a $2 piece of acrylic was sent.
They refuse to refund fully, offering discounts on next purchase. Out of pocket US $60 and can’t do nothing about it. Shonky pricks.

I recently bought a product on qualitygrabber.com and it has been a total dumpster fire. While not an outright scam (I did receive an actual product) nothing has been as promised. Here’s my story:

I ordered an acrylic periodic table of elements that was supposed to contain the ACTUAL elements. It’s advertised all over its page, has pictures of them with the actual elements. I thought it was a great alternative to other more expensive versions I’ve seen. And besides, they have a “risk-free ironclad 60-day” money-back guarantee so I thought I was set. I ordered it and paid extra for 2-5 business day shipping.

It was nearly a month before I got the product in the mail. Why would they give an option to upgrade shipping if it means nothing? To steal money.

When it finally arrived it wasn’t what was promised. It didn’t contain the actual elements. It just has pictures etched onto the back of the acrylic case. False advertising.

As I’ve been trying to work with their customer service to get a refund they have proven to be basically worthless. They told me I can have a 60% credit towards future purchases or I can pay out of my own pocket to ship it back to them. It has to be in the original packaging and it has to be in perfect condition for them to grant a full refund. False advertising.

In summary, it seems like the owners of qualitygrabber.com are trying to run an actual business, they’re just playing by a different set of rules. They don’t mind being completely dishonest about their products and their guarantee.
