The "CIBC Online Access Disabled Alert" Phishing Scam

The CIBC Online Access Disabled Alert Phishing Scam

I just received a phishing SMS text to my Calgary area code 403 mobile number. (Just to note: no, no, no I didn’t input real data on the phishing page. It is a classic phishing where you click on the link and it goes to this fake and fraudulent CIBC website: www.cicbonline-ca. com. After arriving on the look-alike CIBC login page, you asked to enter your card number and password. Then after clicking on the [LOGIN] button, your card number and password are sent the cybercriminals and you redirected or sent to the legitimate CIBC website at www.cibc.com.
