Chase-Online We Need to Verify Your Identity Phishing Text

The text message below which claims Chase Online needs to verify the recipients' identity is a phishing scam. The fake message was not sent by Chase, but by cyber-criminals. Therefore, recipients of the same text message are asked not to follow the instructions or click on the links within it. The links go to a fake JPMorgan Chase Bank website designed to trick visitors into stealing their Chase usernames and passwords. This is why it is recommended that online users never click on a link in an email message to sign into their online accounts. They should instead, go directly to their online account providers' websites and sign into their accounts from there.

I received the following Invite. I don't want to receive such scam, can you look into this?

    Hello dear,

How are you doing today? I suppose you are all well and this information met you in a right state of mind.

My name is James joe and I work with chase bank regional headquarters here in the United state of America.

I am contacting you regarding a customer of ours whom I have recently just found out is late and I was in charge of her funds in our establishment as her payment officer before her death.

Well.I have been unable to find her relatives so far and fortunately there has been a little heads up somewhere because the last name which comes up on our data for the deceased is the same as yours when I decided to look it up on Facebook,So therefore technically you are eligible to claim this inheritance worth of 100,000,000 dollars.

In the meantime I have added you on the list of the names to claim the funds and your full cooperation is needed before we take any further steps to this course.

Our aim is to serve you more better and ensure an even distribution of funding to the appropriate individuals. Ensure to get in touch with me as soon as you get this mail or message for further proceedings my direct email is fpaul5052@gmail.com

    Thank you

    Yours sincerely

    James joe
