The International Network of Business Professionals Scam

Online users who have received "The International Network of Business Professionals" messages with links to the website www.thewabp.com, are asked to delete them. This is because the messages are being sent by online scammers. The scammers claim they belong to an organization that calls itself "The International Network of Business Professionals" that are advertising by unsolicited emails, which claim that the recipients have been specially selected for membership in this "Elite Worldwide Business Association," and urging them to 'confirm' their information. The website will ask the visitors to register, which is a deceptive way of collecting personal information, so recipients of the fake messages should delete them, and should never follow the instructions in them.

Also, online users who have received messages from the scammers are asked not to follow their instructions.

Hi, I was called from a guy in New York who interviewed me and later congratulated me on having been accepted to the network. He then asked me if I would prefer a three year or a life-long membership. When I asked him to provide more information about the benefits I would be entitled to, he hung up on me!
What a scam! And I can't even report it to LinkedIn anymore because the ad is gone!

I had the same experience last week and I declined to give my credit card details.
The advert showed up on Linkedin again today so will try and report it to LinkedIn.

HI I was called by a woman from New York, after approx. 45 Minutes interview by phone, she congratulated me on having been accepted too. then she resisted to get my credit card number! after I rejected 3 times this issue she offered me a special life-long membership too and asked for credit card number again...I hung up...Unfortunaltely, on Linkedin Pages you can find their advertisment...

Same as above... I too filled the form in and got called today. Surprised when they asked me for payment, as it says on the original form that it´s free to join! Made up some excuse about having to transfer extra money...and hung up. Glad I came across this! Thanks All...

I also filled in the form and got called 4 times from the US from different numbers. I didn't pick up the Phone because I already expected malicious scam...

It's crazy bc they called me today and asked so many interview questions! It seemed very professional until they asked me if I want to have 5 years or lifelong membership. They also asked me to provide them with my credit card information! How crazy is that? They were sooo professional and they questions they asked are also professional! Please be careful!

I get approached by them by phone!
I did filled a form on a LinkedIn ad and a woman called me from New York for an interview. After 15 minutes she told me that my candidature was accepted (WTF?), and she directly asked me to provide my VISA information to pay the subscription fee (500$ for 5 years). It was becoming so weird that I finally said goodbye SCAM!
