"Match.com Someone is Trying to Change Your Password" Phishing Scam
Match.com users who have received the "Someone is trying to change your password" phishing email below are asked to not click on the link in it. This is because the fake email is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick Match.com users into clicking on the link in it, which goes to a fake Match website. If visitors to the fake website attempt to sign-in, their Match account usernames and passwords will be sent to the cybercriminals, who use it to gain access to their accounts and use them fraudulently.
This is why match.com users are asked never to click on a link to sign into their accounts. They should always go directly to www.match.com and sign-in from there. Once they have signed, they will be able to view important notifications or updates, if there is any.
