www.muzic247.com - It is a Fraudulent Online Streaming Website

The website "www.muzic247.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims that online users can listen to music anywhere, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com, and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website (muzic247), run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions.

The Fraudulent Website - www.muzic247.com

www.muzic247.com

They (muzic247) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to muzic247.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

The banks have known about this site for over 4 years and have done nothing about getting them found or stopped from thieving from people's accounts. According to a supervisor for the fraud team at St. George bank in Australia, they refused to class this as a fraud. Her words, "not putting this as fraud, bad luck, you've lost your money". The suspicious b*****d in me tells me that people in the banks themselves are either facilitating the fraud or have been selling off people's information to 247muzic. They also claimed that they have no capacity to block fraudulent activity on people's accounts when the company doing it is so well known. I've lost AUD $65. It's now in the hands of AFCA, basically, the Australian banking ombudsman.

Just found out, I also had $49.95USD taken from my account. Called the bank, who advised me to replaced my previous card with a new card (new number) and now waiting for the refunds.

I had 49.95US taken from my NZ account even though I didn't subscribe to this. I contacted my bank who instructed me to sort it out myself! Don't know what's worse, the scammer or the bank whose role 8s to protect our money

I had money taken from my account today. I have been down to my bank who told me the payment was also taken last month, but I didn't realise.
I went to the Music247.com website and got loads of warnings about them taking money out of peoples accounts.
I had to really struggle to get a refund and get Muzic247 blocked. They don't give service at all, just a scam to rob people of their hard-earned cash
